Golden Girl

I've often thought in the past of making a dress an "outy" pattern. Typically, my dress patterns are inny's, meaning that the design is imprinted, then after wiping the colour away, it only stays in the 'etched' part. This time I made the pattern an outy, so the colour stays on the dress, and I only wipe it away from the 'reverse etch', the part that sticks up....see what I mean...

I must admit I'm partial to this beautiful golden colour, especially with the changes in depth and striations. This was a prototype, so I may try to make some of my other fav pattern's in this reverse method. It will look quite lovely with my silver frames with the golden wash.
